U.S. Horse Outreach (USHO) is a horse rescue organization dedicated to providing support for at risk horses and promoting equine welfare. USHO provides community resources through education, counseling, information and referral services. USHO is funded through individual donations, grants, bequests and corporate sponsorships.
Goals
- To publicly promote horse rescue and horse welfare information and goals.
- To provide safe and secure facilities where rescue horses can transition to their best future potential.
- To support local animal control officers in their enforcement of animal cruelty laws and assist members of the community in finding solutions for at risk horses.
- To obtain IRS 501c3 status to enable program growth and enhanced services to the horse community.
- To provide program transparency to donors, adopters, fosters and the general public.
